Our Online Training Program is broken into 6 modules which you can choose to take individually or sign-up for the full program and save!
*To receive the certificate of completion for this program, you must take all six modules. You may take the modules sequentially or take them as it works for your schedule.
Module 1: Introduction to Dispute Resolution

In this module, you will explore the different ways people resolve disputes. We will practice hands-on conflict management skills through participation in live-action roleplays.
Module 2: Introduction to Mediation

In this module, you will learn the six-phase understanding-based mediation model and practice using it in live-action roleplays. This module is ideal for people new to mediation and for people with experience who are interested in refining their skills and practicing this mediation model.
Module 3: Mediating Workplace Disputes

In this module, you will learn critical considerations for mediating workplace disputes. This training is ideal for people who are interested in providing mediation services to businesses and in workplaces. This module is also suitable for people who already offer mediation services to businesses and workplaces and want to refine and further develop their skills.
Module 4: Mediating Elder & Estate Matters

In this module, you will learn about the intricacies of mediating elder and estate matters and work on your mediation skills by roleplaying multi-party scenarios. This module is ideal for people who have already taken introductory mediation training and already practice as professional mediators.
Module 5: Introduction to Saskatchewan Family Law

In this module, you will learn about the provincial and federal legislation that applies to people in family disputes. You will work on your mediation skills by roleplaying scenarios that focus on family law disputes. This module is ideal for people who have taken introductory mediation training and already practice as professional mediators.
Module 6: Mediating Family Disputes

In this module, you will learn about special considerations for mediating family disputes. You will work through simulated family dispute mediations; these roleplay scenarios may or may not include legal aspects. This module is ideal for people who have already taken introductory mediation training and have family law training/knowledge/practical experience. It is also for people who already work as professional family mediators.

ONLINE 40 Hour Family Mediation Training

Ideal for busy individuals who need to engage with the learning materials on their own time.
This course is recognized as specialized mediation training for the purposes of applying for the Q. Med Designation and as hours toward applying to be a recognized family mediator under Section 7-4 of The King’s Bench Act, 2023.
Parenting Plans - Intensive

This course is ideal for dispute resolution practitioners who want to develop their skills to help families create parenting plans. To optimize your learning experience, we recommend taking the Introduction to Family Mediation course, Mediating Family Disputes course, or both, before taking this course. We also recommend you have prior experience as a mediator.
Mediating Financial Support

This course is ideal for dispute resolution practitioners who want to develop their skills to assist separating couples in creating financial support agreements. To optimize the learning experience, we recommend taking the Introduction to Family Mediation course, Mediating Family Disputes course, or both, before taking this course. Property Division Intensive

This course is ideal for dispute resolution practitioners who want to develop their skills to assist separating couples in creating property division agreements. Intimate Partner Violence Screening & Management for Dispute Resolution Practitioners

This course is ideal for dispute resolution practitioners who want to learn about screening for interpersonal violence in the mediation process. This course is intended for both experienced meditators and people just beginning their mediation training.
Drafting Documents for Dispute Resolution Practitioners

This course is ideal for mediators who want to learn how to write documents for their mediation clients. Explore writing retainer agreements, agreements to mediate, memorandum of understanding, and other documents you might need to draft for your mediation clients. We recommend you have prior introductory mediation training, experience as a professional mediator, or both.

Making Money Mediating - Intensive
Pay What You Can Rate (Minimum $25)
Do you want to make mediation your day job? If so, this is the course for you! Clarify your vision and learn the basics of how to become a successful private mediator. This course is for people who want to be full-time mediators with their own mediation business.
Interest-Based Negotiation For Dispute Resolution Practitioners
This course is ideal for anyone interested in learning the principles of interest-based negotiation. Prior experience is beneficial; however, this course is for both new and seasoned dispute resolution practitioners.

This course is approximately 8 hours of training. This course is offered in two parts and will be delivered live in a virtual setting.
